About Chamber Vulgarus

Chamber Vulgarus aims to provide an opportunity for local composers to meet and work with keen and talented local performers towards a concert and a CD of their music.

Held in an inviting venue mixing “classical” music with other local ensembles, the concerts aim to bring a diverse audience, who may not necessarily have heard the kinds of music on offer before.

It is my hope that as these concerts go on, more and more people will become involved and that this can become a great platform to deliver new music from Aotearoa.
